Well, I have researched the backgrounds of people carrying the surname Lindholm. There are doctors, lawyers, and teachers. There is one background that stands out and I mentioned this in an earlier post. ART. painters and musicians are prominent within this last name. I am a musician also. Actually, I am very curious to see what kind of music Lindholms listen to. Me….Rock & Roll. I live by the lyrics and get lost in the grooves. As we know, Spring is here. Weather is nice and projects will now be made a reality. What are you working on right now? I recently purchased a home and there are too many chores I could work on. Are there any Lindholm landscapers out there? What are the best ornamental shrubs for planting? Thinking about taking on a serious outdoor project.

I have been tooling around looking at all of the chosen paths behind the ones who carry the name, “Lindholm”. There are politicians, writers, and even doctors within our history but one profession that seems to be more prominent than others is art. I have discovered art of many degrees but musical arts seems to be the more recognized with Lindholm’s. Among the most known Lindholm for music, Dave Lindholm is a Finnish singer/song writer who wrote songs such as: “Pieni ja hento ote”, “Jatsikansa tulee”, and “Sitähän se kaikki on”.

I too play a little guitar and beat the drums from time to time. All this made me curious. I would like to know what the Lindholms are doing in this world. Are you a CEO, musician, teacher? Reply and let us know. Maybe we will find out how talented we truly are.

Last night, I began extensive research behind the Surname Lindholm. I tore through everything I could get my hands on. I will be making a trip to the library this weekend in order to create what I call a book-worthy post. It is easy to reach from the depths of Google but in order to gain proper credibility, there has to be documented and cited research. There are too many opinionated statements manipulated to appear as facts. For this manner, I will be reading from books. Yes from real page turning, binding held, Books!

Something else that helps bring this kind of research together is input from personal experiences. Anyone that can help document the origination of the surname Lindholm, please comment. Let’s pull together and create a mecca of information about our origination.
